Please note that the resin statues and figures on our website include the prices of Shipping and Taxes. Unlike other sellers of GK resin statues and figures, we like to be upfront with everyone of the maximum cost they would pay for the statues and figures. We would never ask you for additional payment once you have made the payment online for the statues and figures, unless it specifically mentions "shipping not included" (unlike other sellers that initially show low prices for the statues and figures and once you have paid and are locked, they slap you with a very costly shipping invoice)
1. What is a GK Resin statue/figure? Why are they so expensive?
GK is used in the modelling of the figures, collectibles, models, status, etc. In most cases, they are used for Anime, Superheroes, Characters, or any other artworks. The production of GK figures and resin statues can be very time consuming. The manufacturer/ artist will need to produce the mould and handmade each of the parts. This process includes fabrication, sanding, crafting, brushing, painting, and assembly of the parts. Due to all these factors, Resin statues and figures can be very expensive compared to their counterpart, PVC. Besides, due to the time required to produce a unit of figure, most of the Resin statues and figures are produces with a very limited number of units. The limited number of units has also contributed to the high price of GK Statues and Figures. For some of the popular figures, the price may fetch up to a few thousand dollars per unit. Not to mention, some of the figures has appreciation values. Meaning to say that, the Collectors may make some profit by selling their Pre-owned GK resin statues/figures to another Collector.
2. How to Pre-Order?
To Pre-Order, it is essential that you agree to the precautions. Please read the following precautions and make sure that you are fully aware of the procedures.
About the reservation fee (Shopify/PayPal settlement)
Items that have a description of the PRE-ORDERS are items that require a deposit at the time of booking.
While placing your order, the deposit is used to make the payment to the studio/company and then the order is confirmed.
The deposit will be settled with the studio at the same time as the reserving your order. The remaining balance (unless paid in full) and shipping invoice will be billed once the statue is ready to be shipped from the studios. The reservation order will be finalized at the completion of the payment of the order in full.
3. What is the difference between Deposit, Full Payment and Shipping Cost for a Pre-Order?
All resin statues are produced in limited quantity since they are handmade and handpainted.
Deposit is the minimum amount required to reserve your statue with the studio.
Full Payment is the full price of the statue that is being produced by the studio.
Shipping cost is the overseas shipping cost that needs to be paid for the statue to be shipped from overseas to the destination country.
When you pay the deposit during the pre-order phase, once the statue releases, we will send you the invoice for the Remaining Balance (Full Payment - Deposit) + Overseas Shipping Cost to your email.
4. Will I get refund if I cancel my pre-order for the resin statue?
The deposit/full payment is paid to the studio to reserve your statue.
Hence for the resin PRE-ORDERS, if you change your mind and do not want the product anymore, no refund will be offered and your payment will be forfeited, because the studios/companies do not refund payments.
If the studio decides to cancel the production of the statue, only in that case full refund is provided.
5. Is shipping to my country available?
Yes, shipping is available within United States and to Canada, EU, UK, Australia, China, Japan, UAE and other countries/regions as well. Please note that on certain items (excluding Resin Pre-Orders), import customs will need to be paid by the recipient. If you have any questions, please Contact Us
6. I am a San Francisco resident. Can I use offline payment?
Yes, you can visit our store in San Francisco - Japan Center Mall - West Plaza and make the payment to us in person. Please visit Contact Us
7. How are these massive/big resin statues shipped?
Resin statues are very fragile compared to PVC figures, and hence are disassembled into parts and packed into big foam boxes, ranging from 1-4 boxes in general. Hence this is also one of the reasons why the resin statues are expensive compared to generic PVC figures.
8. How is my order shipped? How long does it take to deliver?
For the Pre-Orders (once the statue is released) / Overseas Stock, once the payment for the full payment and overseas shipping cost has been made, it takes 30-45 days to arrive at the US port and 45-60 days to arrive at Canada, EU, UK and Australia. There are certain countries/regions where air shipping is possible which takes 15-20days. For this, you are provided with the UPS/Fedex/DPD tracking number as well, but it only gets updated once the shipment arrives at the US port and UPS scans and picks it up.
For the In-Store Stock, figures and other anime products that we have in store, will be shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. They generally take 2-3 weeks for delivery (including packing and shipping).
9. What if the product I ordered is out of stock?
Resin statues/Signed Wall Art Prints are produced in limited quantity. Once the studio stock is sold out, the only way to acquire one will be via our network of resellers.
For the PVC Figures and other smaller items, the production time may take 3-4 weeks. If we do not have the product readily available at the store, we will email you the expected wait time.
9. What is your Return/Refund policy?
Unfortunately we do not accept returns/refunds. Before shipping we always check the quality of the product, but in case the product arrives broken, please take as many photos as you can, and please contact us as soon as possible as we might have to talk to the courier service. Partial or Full Refund or Return will be decided based on the condition of the delivered product.
10. Can I order a resin statue or any anime product and merchandise that I do not see on your website?
Yes, definitely. If you are looking for anything in particular, for any of the anime merchandise or anime products, Contact Us.
We have had many customers where they had been looking for a particular resin statue for a very long time, and we got it for them.
12. Is my information secure?
Yes, your information is completely secure with respect to Flying Raijin. Please read Shopify Privacy Policy for Customers on how Shopify handles your data.
13. What is Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4?
Q1 (1st Quarter) : January until March
Q2 (2nd Quarter) : April until June
Q3 (3rd Quarter) : July until September
Q4 (4th Quarter) : October until December
14. Will I get refund if I cancel my order?
If the cause for the refund is our mistake and we are unable to fulfil the order, you will get a full refund.
But if the cause for cancellation is you changing your mind or you don't need the product, you will be offered a partial refund (minus the Paypal fees or Shopify fees or Square Fees as those are non-refundable). And once the product gets shipped, no refunds will be offered.
For statue/figures PRE-ORDERS, if you change your mind and do not want the product anymore, no refund will be offered and your deposit will be forfeited, because the studios/companies do not refund deposits.
15. Do you accept Payment Plans?
Yes, we do accept Payment Plans. There are 2 options : First is Paypal that will be offered to you once you do the checkout on our online shop. Second is ShopPay, which is the Shopify Payment plan available at the checkout as well, an third is AfterPay, for which you would need to download the AfterPay app on your phone, and instead of checking out the product through our online website, we will be sending you a Square invoice through our Sqaure POS that accepts AfterPay payments. 17. If resin statues are broken or lost during shipping, how will that be resolved?
We and our forwarder overseas always check the resin statues before it gets shipped to you. If certain unfortunate circumstances do occur, we request your patience till we resolve things with the studio and courier services. For the minor breakages, we advise you to use a good glue (that we can send to you). For major breakages, we will either request the studio for the replacement of the parts or the whole statue, or offer partial/full refund (depends on how serious the damage is).
